Sessions for children aged 2 years and upwards!

As part of Barnardos services to children aged 0-5 years, I am running a 5 week course of Drama Babes sessions for children aged two years upwards.    Sessions will take place on Monday mornings (10.45 - 11.00) from February 25th. 

Let's get moving!...

These particluar sessions will be very active.  I will still be using storytelling, finger puppets, art & craft and music to fly off on our magic carpet, but we will be bouncing, dancing and jiggling our way to our wonderful magical adventures to help the children develop confidence, express themselves, to work together and to make friends.

What is The Children's Centre? 

At the Children's Centre we are working to support parents to give their children aged 0 - 5 years old the best start in life by:

providing new learning experiences; ensuring children are safe from harm; helping families get the most from their local community and services and promoting healthy lifestyles.

We do this by offering:

groups and activities both for mums, dads, carers and their children; one-to-one support for families; childcare through Headstart’s Nursery; signposting to access other information such as benefits, employment, housing and training opportunities; opportunities to play and have fun; contact with other professionals such as health visitors, therapists etc; the chance to ‘have your say’ to shape services offered from the Children’s Centre and volunteering opportunities’.
